In this document, the Regional Human Rights Monitoring and Analysis Team in Central America exposes and denounces the advances and setbacks related to democracy, citizen security, poverty, development and the situation of COVID-19 in the region.
This report presents the main violations of people’s rights such as life, health, freedom of expression, association and information; and urges States to respect rights and adhere to constitutional mandates that benefit the entire population. It is divided into the following thematic areas:
